Vuong Dinh Flour Factory – A Step Forward in the Deep Processing Strategy for Agricultural Products
Vuong Dinh Group is implementing the Vuong Dinh Flour Factory Project, oriented toward producing rice flour and potato/tapioca flour for the food industry and related processing needs.
The project is identified as a new development step in Vuong Dinh Group’s agricultural value chain, aiming to enhance the value of Vietnamese agricultural products through deep processing instead of focusing only on raw material products.
1. Project Scale
According to the current plan, Vuong Dinh Flour Factory has the following parameters:
- Total investment capital: VND 500 billion
- Factory area: 5,000 m²
- Designed capacity: 30,000 tons/year
- Status: Under implementation
- Expected completion: Q4/2026
With this scale, the project is oriented to become a new link in Vuong Dinh Group’s agriculture – processing – distribution ecosystem.
2. Developing High-Quality Rice Flour Products
One of the factory’s key product lines is premium rice flour, using selected rice sourced from raw material areas in the Mekong Delta.
According to the project orientation, Wet Milling technology is used to maintain fineness, uniformity, and characteristics suitable for processed food products.
Rice flour is oriented for application in many product groups such as:
- Rice vermicelli
- Pho noodles
- Rice paper
- Processed food products made from rice
The product aims for whiteness, smoothness, and appropriate elasticity for the processing procedure.
3. Producing Potato and Tapioca Flour
In addition to rice flour, Vuong Dinh Flour Factory is also oriented to produce potato/tapioca flour from raw materials such as cassava and potato.
The production line is expected to use a centrifugal separation and filtration system to enhance purity and control impurities during processing.
This product group is oriented for application in:
- Confectionery production
- Food industry
- Products requiring binding ability
- Certain processing needs using starch
4. Production Process Oriented Toward ISO 22000
The project is developed according to a production process oriented toward the ISO 22000 standard, with the main process chain:
Raw materials → Cleaning → Milling/Separation → Drying → Packaging
Organizing the production line as a closed process helps Vuong Dinh Group move toward the ability to control quality from input materials to finished products.
5. Increasing Value for the Agricultural Chain
Vuong Dinh Flour Factory is not only viewed as an independent production project but also as part of the Group’s orientation to develop its agricultural value chain.
Through deep processing activities, the project aims to:
- Increase the value of agricultural raw materials.
- Expand the portfolio of processed products.
- Increase connectivity between raw material areas and production activities.
- Serve the needs of the domestic food industry and international markets.
- Gradually complete the value chain from raw materials to processed products.
6. Toward a Sustainable Agricultural Value Chain
In its long-term development strategy, Vuong Dinh Group aims to connect the fields of agriculture, processing, technology, and logistics to increase proactiveness in the supply chain and enhance product value.
Investing in Vuong Dinh Flour Factory demonstrates the orientation of shifting from raw material production to deep processing and developing products with higher added value.
The project is expected to be completed in Q4/2026, adding a new link to Vuong Dinh Group’s agricultural and food ecosystem.
